My friend Karen just adopted the cutest dog from a shelter. Her name is Sophie, an 11 year old ball of happiness. A women had to go into a nursing home and give up her dog,( I can't even imagine how she must have felt) but Sophie found a great home.
I'm so happy for Sophie (and Karen, of course) ... and my heart goes out to that poor woman who had to give her up. Maybe she knows that Sophie found a wonderful, loving home. I hope so.

OMG...I love her!!! and yes, I've spoken to the other owners and they're so happy Sophie found us!
